Kimber helps people to achieve their vision of financial independence with a process that coordinates the three phases of wealth management: accumulation, protection, and distribution. His clients benefit from having a partner who understands who they are and what they want. More than anything, he helps them to manage their "investor behavior" in way that allows them to take advantage of opportunities while avoiding the big mistakes many investors make and helps them to realize their personal goals.
Drawing on 21 years' experience, Kimber has helped hundreds of families and individuals make sense of the opportunities they have in a very complex world of financial products, information, and strategies, helping them to achieve “human” and “real life” returns. He also helps trustees manage their fiduciary responsibilities efficiently and ethically and consults with businesses that are committed to helping their employees through employer-sponsored retirement plans. Kimber achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1999 and also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. He has a BS from Murray State University, where he was a finance major, and has the FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities registrations as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. He is licensed for life, long-term care, disability, and health insurance.
Kimber was a board member of the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce from 2009 through 2011, during which time he chaired several committees, including the annual Golf Classic and Small Business Roundtable. He is also a 2011 graduate of the Leadership Brentwood program and is a member of the Leadership Brentwood Alumni Association. From 2004 through 2007, he chaired the Tennessee American Business Ethics Awards, a program recognizing local businesses and benefiting Character Counts! Nashville, and was active in the Nashville Business Forum 2011-2015. Charitable interests include volunteering with Junior Achievement Nashville and serving on the board of the Catholic Business League. Additionally, he has spoken to various groups on a number of financial planning-related topics.
